Hongyi Li
Hongyi is a designer & planner who has diverse skills in city planning, architecture, and product design. He will graduate from Penn with the Master of City Planning degree and the Integrated Product Design certificate in Spring 2024. With a global perspective and dedication to interdisciplinary study, Hongyi participated in a broad range of professional projects in different firms, including downtown redevelopment, historic preservation plan, new town design & planning, architectural design, and interior consultancy. Through these experiences, he is passionate about creating active spaces that can benefit users or local communities, and seeks for innovative tool kits to maximize the impact of design. Envisioning the future, Hongyi tends to explore the intersection of design technology, climate resiliency, public engagement, and project implementation when he continues to work for Interface Studio in Philadelphia.
